A human responsive Sculpture/Audiovisual Instalation activated by regular performances

This Work was an Instalation including severeal welded sculptural elements, that framed and suported two radios a CRT TV an IBM Selectric typrwiter, a large role of paper, a computer terminal and was the synthesis of several months of reserch into analog signal encoding, decoding and Broadcast. the instalation had several states which would be toggled during daily performances.
The television took a signal either from an old analog apple webcam or took a signal I programed onto a arduino.
The performaces would happen every day for 30 to 45 minutes and involved me changing the signals on the Television using a Terminal attached to one of the walls, me moving aorund the room reacting to changes in the sound caused by my movents and the movements ofspectators. I would then use the IBM electric typwriter to type onto a continuous text that accumilated over the length of the exhibition. this work was Long Listed for the RDS Visual Art Awards 2024.
